5- Learning New Things
We\'ve created a new service at the agency where we teach companies and personalities the basics of public relations so they can market themselves and combine it with social media.
Today I wanted to tell you about my desire to learn and why it has allowed me to succeed in my businesses. If you have lost this reflex to learn new things, I invite you to listen to this episode because I think I have found how to make you want to learn again through five steps.
But before I reveal my five steps to you, here\'s why I love learning so much:
WHY LEARN NEW THINGS
1- It helps me stop repeating the same mistakes and move on when I\'m stuck
2- I can be successful and grow
3- I can go further
I love to learn, even when I’m learning about something I don\'t like.
Here is the perfect example: human resources were not, let\'s say, a passion for me.
But I knew I had to give it my attention to keep growing. We had experienced tremendous sales growth of over 40%, and my partner and I innocently thought that the team in place was as happy with these successes as we were. They were going to have salary increases, new members on the team to share the tasks ... well let\'s say without going into specifics, that it\'s not what happened.
Because of this, I chose to work with a professional to support me in my reflection and restructuring of our company. Something that entrepreneurs like me, who are passionate about business development, often neglect ...
And I was able to get involved in improving all aspects of our human resources because of my desire to learn, and even learn about things I don\'t like….
I went from \"Human resources are not my greatest skill\" to \"I\'m learning to get better and to manage human resources better\".
So, if you want to grow and make yourself known, I suggest you activate your desire to learn with the following five steps:
1- Create desire (and feed it)
2- Be curious
3- Openness
4- Tame failure
5- Progress
