51- GUYLAINE BEAUCHEMIN, The phoenix that finally found her ‘’why’’.
Do you know what your “Why’’ is? Do you sometimes get to the top of your mountain only to find yourself in a slippery, never ending journey back to the bottom? Have you ever been so ill that you wished that your life and suffering would just end?
My podcast guest, Guylaine Beauchemin, has lived a thousand lives— some very difficult— but has made it back each time, stronger and more purposeful.
Guylaine Beauchemin has been an entrepreneur for 33 years. Both an entrepreneur and artist at heart, she has been an artistic director, choreographer, Latin dance teacher, professional dancer and singer, all while managing her three dance studios.
It was at the end of 2010 that her professional life fell apart. She found out that she had Type B lymphoma cancer located in the small intestine. She underwent surgery and then a series of chemotherapy protocols.
It was around this time that she had a supernatural experience that would change her life and her determination to live instead of die.
During the course of eleven years, she worked at rebuilding her lif, not without more life challenges. In 2012, she began her online studies in Web Marketing in the United States. In 2014, driven by the force of her passion for entrepreneurship, she created a WebTV series dedicated to promoting and exploring positivity in entrepreneurship, and eventually became a broadcaster.
In 2016, she organized her first crowdfunding campaign, followed by a second campaign in 2017. She loves it so much that she decided to create the Crowdfunding Academy in 2018, and solidified her unique business model in 2021 by setting up the crowdfunding platform Dream Makers— whose mission is to support entrepreneurs by creating crowdfunding campaigns to finance their business projects.
