13 - How to self care and self reward
In this episode, I give you tips on how to consciously self-care and self-reward.
When you do it consciously you tell yourself that you matter, that you are important, that you value who you are.
Self-care does not have to be long or complicated, on the contrary and it should be simple and performed everyday.
Self-reward is meant to motivate you to repeat a behavior. Here are 3 criteria you want to consider:
Chose something that makes you feel good, before, while and after, for example: a piece of cake might not be a wise reward, it could be too, it depends on your relation with food etc
It can’t induce stress on you ( financial etc.)
The intrinsec, non monetary reward is most likely the most powerful sefl reward, because it programs you to choose positive and kind words for yourself so it has a double effect on you.
