90. French Florida 1562-65

French Florida was a colonial territory established by French Huguenot colonists in what is now Florida and South Carolina, USA during the 1560s. The colonial endeavor was started following plans to establish New World colonies where persecuted Protestant religionists could safely establish themselves.
