According to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus, at the age of 12, accompanies his parents and a group of friends and relatives to Jerusalem for Passover. When returning to Nazareth, Jesus is not with the group. Mary and Joseph find their son in the Temple 3 days later in discussion with the doctors or elders.
