Feast of the Sacred Heart is celebrated on the third Friday after Pentecost, focusing on Jesus's heart as a symbol of his divine love and physical sacrifice, as promoted by the French Visitation nun and mystic Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-90) who's devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus was unconditional. She was canonized a Saint in 1920 by Pope Benedict XV.
