Machine Gun Kelly is not a conventional rapper. A musician himself and a rock music lover, his rap is personal and intimate. The young man from Cleveland, OH, already carries a lot of weight from his past. At only 28, he went through homelessness and battled a heroin addiction before achieving international fame. In this interview, MGK talks about his atypical background and shares his thoughts on the hip-hop industry, on the notion of success, on being real rather than being perfect, revealing himself as a man of deep personal integrity.
